Franna Reaches 100-Crane Milestone in Indonesia
Franna has marked a significant milestone in Indonesia with the delivery of its 100th crane in the market, highlighting the brand’s steady growth across Southeast Asia and the increasing demand for pick-and-carry cranes in the region.
The milestone unit is a Franna MAC 25-4, a 25-tonne pick-and-carry crane well known for its ability to handle lifting jobs that require both mobility and flexibility. Built for applications where loads need to be lifted and moved efficiently around a site, the MAC 25-4 continues to be a popular choice for operators working in construction, mining, steel fabrication, and infrastructure environments.
The 100th crane was delivered to PT Vector Utama Indonesia, a company involved in steel fabrication and on-site construction work. The addition strengthens Vector’s existing fleet, with this now being its third Franna crane. Support for the machine is being provided by Cranserco, Franna’s authorised distributor in Indonesia, covering ongoing servicing and maintenance.
To recognise the occasion, representatives from Franna and Cranserco presented Vector with a commemorative scale model of the MAC 25-4 during the handover.
Why the MAC 25-4 suits this kind of work
For businesses like Vector, cranes need to do more than simply lift. They need to move around active worksites, assist with pre-assembly work, and help position components quickly and safely. That is where pick-and-carry cranes continue to stand out.
The MAC 25-4 is used across workshop and project environments for tasks such as:
- moving heavy components around work areas
- helping with structural assembly
- supporting tandem lifts alongside larger mobile cranes
- loading and unloading counterweights
- holding sections in place during pre-assembly
- adjusting items like conveyor trusses ahead of final installation
This type of versatility is a major reason Franna cranes remain a practical solution for businesses that need lifting equipment to keep pace with fast-moving site conditions.
The advantage of true pick-and-carry capability
One of the key points that continues to separate Franna from many other crane types is its true pick-and-carry design. Rather than relying on outriggers and repeated setup, a Franna crane can travel directly to the load, pick it up, and carry it to where it needs to go.
That creates a major advantage on site. Because the crane can stay closer to the load throughout the task, it often works within a shorter lifting radius, where crane capacity is naturally stronger. In practical terms, that can mean a smaller Franna is able to perform work that might otherwise require a larger and more costly machine.
For operators working on busy or constrained sites, that extra mobility can improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary repositioning time.
Growing demand in Southeast Asia
This latest delivery also reflects Franna’s growing footprint in Southeast Asia, particularly in markets where infrastructure, mining, and industrial projects require lifting equipment that can handle changing site conditions.
Indonesia is a strong example of that demand. On sites where access is tight, ground conditions can vary, and lifts need to happen alongside ongoing project activity, pick-and-carry cranes offer a useful alternative to more traditional lifting setups.
Franna’s combination of articulated steering, road mobility, and jobsite adaptability has helped the brand build strong momentum in these types of environments. The 100-crane milestone is a clear sign that this demand is continuing to grow.
A milestone that reflects confidence in the brand
Reaching 100 cranes in Indonesia is more than just a sales number. It reflects the level of trust that companies are placing in Franna’s equipment, as well as the importance of local support through distributors like Cranserco.
For contractors and industrial operators, reliability, service support, and practical site performance all matter. This milestone suggests Franna is continuing to deliver on those expectations in a market where lifting solutions need to be safe, efficient, and adaptable.
As infrastructure and industrial work continues across Southeast Asia, Franna’s position in the region looks set to strengthen even further.
